Large vintage Lifetime settle, model #712 3/4, with three slats under eacharm. The front legs have four through-tenons and are tenoned through thetop of the arms. The back crest rail is mortised through the rear legs andis canted (angled), which, when combined with the extra depth of the seatcushion, makes this form a very comfortable settle. A well constructed andsubstantial seating piece in original finish and signed with the LifetimeFurniture Company label, Grand Rapids.
